Saint Aloysius Gonzaga Antique Religious Medal Saint Francis Xavier Circa 1700 s Jesuit Pendant SS126This is an antique large bronze Jesuit religious medal circa the late 1700s.The front features Saint Aloysius Gonzaga before a crucifix.The reverse depicts features the death of Saint Francis Xavier on December 3, 1552, on the island and harbor of Sanch\u00f4n, in a straw hut that was not his own, ten years after he had come to the regions of India. His last words, as he was dying, were: "In te, Domine, speravi, non confundar in aeternum." (" In Thee, O Lord, have I hoped; let me never be confounded.")
