Ava Marie Coriz (1948-2011) created this Vintage Beautiful Crescent Valley Turquoise pendant and nugget necklace. It\u2019s quite striking and just as beautiful as the lady that she was. The turquoise large nuggets are of a beautiful sea foam color. The Crescent Valley Turquoise Stone pendant has shades of blue and shades of green with golden brown matrix. The pendant is signed on the back AMC. There is an initial R in front of the sterling which may be her nephew Rodney Coriz collaborated with her to make this piece. Rodney Coriz has become a master talented Santo Domingo artist.The Crescent Valley Turquoise Stone set in the pendant not including the bail measures in from the widest angle at approximately 2" (49mm) in length by 1.65" (42mm) across. The turquoise nuggets are random in size 9-10mm by 20-24mm. The necklace weighs 191.3 grams. The silver beads are Bench made by Ava as is the clasp and are made with Sterling silverLength: Measuring from the clasp end to end is 23\u201d.
